Local Children and Adults Workshops

The Valentines Park Forest Garden project continues to grow in new and exciting ways. We are very pleased to let you know that Colours of Redbridge will be funding a series of workshops for local children and adults exploring art and creativity inspired by the wonders of nature. We are planning Plein Air watercolours and botanical painting, along with fun have-a-go sessions.

Young people have been learning about sustainability and climate change in our weekly lunchtime EcoClub at Valentines High School. Our hands-on activities have included planting vegetables, the Japanese art of hapazome and wood whittling. We even had an afternoon visiting the Forest Garden last term!
